Preface:

This is the book that started my journey for a love of reading. It got the juices flowing and I was hooked. I was in 8th grade and this book came across my reading list that the teacher gave out to the students for a final project at the end of the semester. I picked it, I believe, because the cover was an old dusty burgundy color, which makes sense because I am drawn to old things that fascinate me. This book was the first one that kept my interest long enough to get through a chapter at a time, which is hard for me due to my attention span being so short. I feel like you all will enjoy the story and the detail in which Mr. Dumas portrays the characters.
